After Breakfast proceed for your morning sightseeing tour. Beginning with the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic games of modern times were held in 1896 and continue passing by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian´s Arch, the Parliament, the Academy, the University, the National Library and Constitution Square (Syntagma). Your tour will be followed by a visit to the Acropolis, the most famous landmark of entire Greece. After Breakfast, transfer to the port of Piraeus for your ferry to the island of Santorini. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and you will have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the stunningly gorgeous Greek isle that it’s rumoured in legend to be the lost city of Atlantis. Walk in the paths of Fira, the picturesque capital of Santorini; perched high up on the edge of the Caldera and enjoy the views of the volcano, ocean, white-washed buildings, and blue-domed churches. Enjoy your day exploring the unique traditional atmosphere by visiting famous small villages like Akrotiri and MessaVouno, with their famous archaeological sites, Karterades, Emporio, Ammoudi, Finikia, Perissa, Perivolos, Kamari, Messaria and Monolithos. Morning at leisure. You can visit the Museum of Prehistoric Thira which hosts the important findings that were brought into light with the excavations in Akrotiri. Visit the Archaeological Museum which exhibits collections of sculptures and inscriptions from the Archaic to the Roman Era. It also hosts frescoes and sculptures of the Hellenistic period, Byzantine works of art and even some remains of prehistoric times. After Breakfast, transfer to the port of Naxos to take the ferry to Piraeus port in Athens. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend your day at leisure and do not miss the opportunity to visit the “heart” of the historical centre of Athens, the traditional commercial neighbourhood, with more than 2,500 shops of all kinds, which spreads out over the streets surrounding Ermou Street (the city’s best-known commercial street).
